Japanese label visvim is renowned for the emphasis it places on traditional manufacturing techniques used during the creative process as well as stressing ethical practice in design. The brand also recognises the importance of educating others and sharing these techniques with a wider audience as seen through the various symposiums and seminars it has offered at its F.I.L. Brick & Mortar locations in the past. Recently, visvim held a Natural Dyeing Process Demonstration and Workshop, with the aim of highlighting its natural dyeing techniques in an interactive session that took place at the F.I.L. Kyoto location. The workshop featured demonstrations by an indigo-dye craftsman as well as offering patrons the opportunity  to experience the process for themselves. Alongside the dye procedure, an additional workshop focused on the process of silk-screen printing with natural dyes as well.
