Fantastic Man’s “Buttoned-Up” Explores East London’s Infatuation with the Air Tie
The style aficionados at Fantastic Man have recently edited a pocket book for Penguin that investigates the curious – yet widely adopted – East London phenomenon of buttoning one’s shirt all the way to the top. The 112-page paperback, entitled Buttoned-Up, contains essays, reportages, photographs and an interview with the notoriously buttoned-up Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys. The title is part of a series of 12 celebrating the 150th anniversary of the London Underground and can be found at all good bookshops and online at www.penguin.co.uk.
