Shot in Palm Springs “Weavers” represents the continuation from Phillip Lim’s fall 3.1 menswear show. Inspired by artisan tapestry, the film’s artistic direction and title are a jester to the visual language presented in such beautiful works. The models weave / thread in and out of the shadows of mundane structures we see everyday transforming them into interesting canvases eluding the camera only giving a glimpse into what the designer holds for us in the up coming seasons. A Mysterious piece, one that is fitting of the Phillip Lim brand as he describes it as “This film is our attempt to capture that experience of seeing someone in snatches”.
