Takahiro Kuraishi, the combination of two well known Japanese designers made their debut during spring/summer 2010 with the Levi’s Lefty Jean collection. Now Takahiro Miyashita, the Number (N)ine founder and Kazuki Kuraishi, whose work for adidas, fragment design and Neighborhood is most notable have begun work on an all new project. Set to make an impact during spring/summer 2011, 84-74 lab. is the chosen name for the line and will include a collection of knits and a duffle jacket. The most notable facet of the outerwear is the use of a dynamic Diaplex material created by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries which can change breathability to the relative body temperatures.
