Last Friday saw A Bathing Ape open its first AAPE store in Tokyo, using the same space which was once home to BBC Ice Cream. The AAPE line is targeted to a younger audience with the line a more featuring a more vibrant fun approach. Anumber of well known people turned up to show their support to the latest initiative from the BAPE collective while there was also some commemorative items produced for the event with caps, iPhone cases, flashlights, umbrellas and AAPE-shaped macaroons.
