Arc’teryx Veilance Spring/Summer 2010 Collection
The Spring/Summer range from Canadian mountaineering brand Arc’teryx’s high-end Veilance collection has just hit stores.
Featuring a range of shirts, pants, jackets, and blazers the collection combines technical fabrics with innovative construction of architecturally inspired 3-D patterns. The garments build on the previous seasons styles, but whilst still offering protection from inclement weather, they are designed to handle the changeable spring seasons and come in a brighter colour palette in lightweight and cooling materials, perfect for the warmer summer months.
This is a collection that continues to impress with it’s minimal design and attention to detail. The highly structured construction of the clothes juxtaposed against the functional nature of the fabrics make it one of the few brands that manages to successfully straddle that difficult divide between sports/streetwear and formal wear without making you look like your a rapper at an awards show, or a boring office clone rocking trainers to “express their individuality”.
