Barbour x Takihito Yoshida Spring/Summer 2010 "Beacon TO KI TO" Collection

Here is a first look at the new Barbour Beacon TO KI TO Fall collection, Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida’s take on the English Heritage brand. Barbour’s products have rapidly been adopted by the streetwear market over the last few years, their functionality, hardwearing and waterproof construction, plus current vogue for hunting attire makes it an obvious choice. However I can’t help feel that some of their cuts and styles from their main line can be a bit old fashioned and sometimes make the wearer end up looking like a farmer. Barbour Beacon solves that problem taking these classic shapes and materials and updating them in a manner more appropriate for the urban consumer. The Spring/Summer range sees lighter versions of the cycling and driving jackets from the winter range, plus a blazer, blouson and shirt jacket.
