If this preview of their upcoming footwear collection is any indication of the year Blackscale looks to have in 2011 I see a very solid year coming for them. Its refreshing to see such a classic aesthetic given a twist yet doesn’t reach outside of the brands current sensibilities. The contrasting suede and leathers, minimal styling and detailing such as the zippered side entry on the boot really make for a very solid and well executed collection.
