Burberry Prorsum Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

I don’t think you can ever match a classic Burberry trench coat, it is really the original not to mention the most famous piece from the Burberry collections. This season, Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 collection, sees the introduction of an enormous array of new jacket styles. These jacket styles may or may not be the next ‘trench’ coat from the English brand but there are a few in there which I am sure will withstand a lifetime. Military inspired, Christopher Bailey creates looks such as double breasted buttons, high collars, exaggerated shoulder detailing, military lace-up boots, blazers, denim shirts, thick leather belts and some modernized takes on their ‘trench’ coat style.
I think the stand out piece for this collection is the sheep skin lined, brown leather ‘pilot’s’ jacket, which is at trench coat length with an oversized, double layered collar and leather wrist strapping. The details are beautiful and simple enough for this jacket to be a life long look, especially for those in a colder climate.
