Cassette Playa have teamed up with their Japanese stockists Phenomenon for a Fall/Winter 2009 capsule collection.  An equally wild partnership, the small range features a series of printed tees, a down jacket and studded backpack featuring typical Cassette Playa and Phenomenon prints.

If I’m being honest I’m not a fan of this look (although if I’m being totally honest that’s probably because I’m too old for it!), however, this is the really great thing about Carri Munden, like all great creative minds she has the power to invoke a strong reaction with her work. Love it or loathe it, most people have some kind of opinion about Cassette Playa, there is little middle ground.  These days when everyone and their brother is rocking a tastefully restrained chambray shirt thats a pretty rare thing.
