Cy Choi is a new label by Korean born, Italian based designer Chul Young Choi. His debut collection, entitled “Boundaries and Cutout”, are inspired by the work of three artists (El Lisstzky, Henry Matisse and Chris Johansen), and his appreciation of the 3-dimensionality of garments that can be worn and appreciated in different ways.   Not only are the clean lines and deceptively simple designs impressive, but the thought and research behind the concept marks Cy Choi as a label to watch.
