The GANT by Michael Bastian Fall 2012 presentation took place yesterday, Wednesday, February 15th at Exit Art in Manhattan. For Fall 2012, the collection journeyed back to Bastian’s own college days in Boston for the GANT by Michael Bastian collection. Emphasis of the collection is as always on updated American sportswear pieces, but this time with elements of Bastian’s time in school during the ’80′s was added to the mix. To realize this inspiration, Exit Art was transformed into a pulsing, black-and-white checkered night club reminiscent of hip downtown hangouts in the 80’s.
