I’m not a huge fan of self-styled rock’n’roll designer John Varvatos, but his collaborations with Converse have proved to be really fruitful.  He seems to be able to reign in the excesses of most collaborations and the latest the Sprint Grip, a sneaker/desert boot hybrid, is just as successful.
