Lanvin continue to grow in stature, if that is actually possible, as their reinvented image takes control of another traditional design. This mountain boot is defined by the a supple grey leather upper, while the defining detail is the elastic band that covers the top of the laces back round the the ankle. Not sure exact how functional the design is but then again I don’t think that was the vocal point when Alber Elbaz was coming up with this piece.
