Here is a first look at the Maison Martin Margiela presents the “Replica” Perfume Collection with the famed fashion house impressing again with a new initiative. Consisting of three fragrances, one capturing the scent of a Paris “Flower Market” in 2011, another representing a sandy “Beach Walk” along the Corsican shore of Calvi in 1972, and finally the “Funfair Evening,” which bottles the warm, sugary air of a 1994 summer night in Santa Monica. Perfume engineers, Jacques Cavallier and Marie Salamagne embrace the “Replica” concept with every minor detail with the packaging reminiscent of historic apothecary bottles with labels describing each scent.
