Every season we see a new rendition of the timeless German Trainer design from Martin Margiela, based on the original silhouette from the German Military in the 70′s – 80′s and known for it’s distinctive simple construction and sole design. Here we see a collaboration between the New York fashion retailer Barney’s and Belgian label on this classic piece of footwear. Featuring a unique Pollock-esque paint smear. May not be the most practical design but definitely one which Margiela fans can appreciate.
