Neil Barrett Sping/Summer 2010 Collection
Since Neil Barrett’s debut in Milan fashion week back in 2002, the British designer has developed the label to become hugely popular over the years, offering each season collections characterized by his unique luxurious clean-cut designs, and the latest collection is certainly of no exception. Contrary to his previous collections however, is that the title of this latest collection “Artisan Bonding” take on a much more literal meaning. Because of the extraordinary construction and materials used in the collection, many of the pieces required a chain of specialists working together in order to be made, hence the title “Artisan bonding” is literally referring to the fact that the process of creating the pieces included the “bonding” of artisans. But regardless, the collection is again exceptionally minimal with clean cut geometry, perfectly complimented by a subtle monochromatic color palette. Take a look below.
