New Balance has provided Junya Watanabe a great platform in recent seasons and this latest project is one of the finest I have seen to date. The New Balance x Comme des Garcons eYe Junya Watanabe 996 features the same vintage effect the designer applied to the collection he created with Nike a while ago that sparked great hysteria. The otherwise very neutral design on the 996 model makes for a compelling release, one that should certainly appeal to our readers.
