The latest addition to Oki-ni’s archive page has designer Nigel Cabourn featured, who is renowned for his meticulously researched reproduction pieces, often produced with remnants of vintage fabrics and finished with dead stock buttons and details.

Oki-ni travelled to Newcastle to meet him at home and photograph the amazing archive of original vintage military clothing that provides endless inspiration for his label. The history and stories behind these pieces is incredible, it is great to read about someone who is so personally invested in collecting such items. Other than that the images are very beautifully shot.
