Prada Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection “Il Palazzo” Campaign by Illustrator Richard Haines
Prada have commissioned fashion illustrator Richard Haines to create a series of drawing for the current autumn/winter 2012 collection. The former fashion designer has a unique eye for detailing and this is well witnessed in this series entitled “Il Palazo,” referencing the ‘palace of role play’ where “Hollywood leading men Gary Oldman, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe and Jamie Bell walked a red carpet runway.” The project will be unveiled in phases, beginning with a some rare and collectable book releases of Haines’ original sketchwork and culminating in a project app and dedicated platform on Prada.com. The final instalment will feature a “virtual Palazo” in which users will be able to discover “rooms” consisting of Prada accessories, as well as Haines’ Prada-based artwork.
