J Crew offers Red Wing a great outlet especially for the Rugged Chukka, a shoe which is finding a location. Finished with a combination of materials, the waxed canvas and suede tongue provides a nice touch to the leather around the base.

The Red Wing history is one of the richest around, having been founded in 1905 in Red Wing, Minnesota by Charles Beckman. The work place Red Wing serves has expanded from the grain fields of the Upper Mississippi River valley to the international oil fields and every tough job site in between. Red Wing Shoe Company, Inc. continues to be a privately-held corporation based in Red Wing, Minnesota. Still based on the same concept which was created by the founder, Red Wing will continue to evolve going by the basis of similar projects from the label.
