For their second collaboration to date, Stone Island and designer Aitor Throup have produced the Articulated Anatomy project – a collection dedicated to the human body and the vast number of poses it can assume. Attempting to produce a series of garments which can mirror any movement, each item of clothing morphs, shifts, extends and contracts with the motions of the wearer. To Throup, the human anatomy is constant, as is his exploration of garment construction, apparently.
