Barbour x Tokito “Beacon Heritage” Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Barbour’s latest “TO KI TO Beacon” collection, created in collaboration with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida has just hit stores.  We have previously given you a preview of this at slamxhype, but now you can take a closer look and get your hands on them.  The collection continues the sub-brand’s theme of modernising the British heritage brands aesthetic and materials and updating them for a contemporary, urban audience.  It includes the driving and cycling jackets we have seen in previous collections, in addition the range also features a more refined casual look with a blazer and Harrington style blouson.  These don’t come cheap, but they do offer a more interesting and wearable take on the waxed cotton outerwear trend that is so popular at the moment.
