Undercover‘s highly anticipated collaborative store with Japan’s virtual retail giant, Zozo.jp has finally made it’s grand opening this weekend. Bringing online an extensive range of products from Undercover’s “Less is Better” 2010 S/S  Collection (shown last year at Pitti Uomo 76 in Florence), also with it some great imagery of the product details as well as a styled lookbook. Along with the store opening will be a limited run capsule collection that consists of a range of backpacks, tees, sneakers and crash denim.

The Dieter Rams inspired collection has seen a fair amount of attention over the past year, partly because it was a new source of influence for Undercover, but moreover that fact that Jun Takahashi was really able to live up to Dieter Rams’ name  in terms of the aesthetic and functional aspect of the collection. The introduction of the range to an official online retailer will possibly open a lot of doors for both the highly sought after label as well as it’s consumers. Great news for everyone.
