Here is a look at Swedish label Whyred‘s upcoming 2009 Autumn/Winter Collection. Themed around the abstract expression of postmodern collage, the collection has been created based on the idea of combining contradictory elements that resonates with the cubism and avant-garde ideologies put forth by Picasso.  The collection includes a range of minimal clean cut trenchcoats and suit pieces in rich dark hues of blue and grey. An exceptional collection with fine balance of forward thinking design and military-inspired functionality. 

The founders of the label being former designers at H&M and J. Lindeberg, Whyred certainly has a very wearable market-oriented approach and is something that the designers really understand and strive to abide to. A collection which we’re really looking forward to. Take a look below.
