While usually the more subdued aesthetic is more appreciated in the current climate of men’s fashion Yohji yamamoto has gone in the opposite direction with Y-3. Incorporating bold materials and colors the Y-3 Spring/Summer 2011 Collection makes for a hugely impressive technical look. Presented at the stunning Park Ave Armory during New York Fashion Week this makes for another well documented move from the Japanese designer.
