Comme des Garcons Dover Street Market has set the standard in recent years when it comes to retail so news of a store opening in New York will be welcoming. With stores already in London and Tokyo, the New York addition will be located in a 20,000-square-foot, seven-story building on 160 Lexington Avenue at 30th street. While we can release this news, the store will not open until this time next year in a building that dates back 103 years and was previously home to the New York School of Applied Design for Women as well as Touro College.
