London-based artist Insa has become famous for his iconic and fetishistic images of intertwined, high-heeled legs. Now he’s gone one step further, collaborating with shoe designer Ruth Shaw to make the fantasy a reality with his new company Insa Heels. Insa’s artwork centres around fetishism, sensuality and the juxtaposition of glamour and graffiti, and his premium leather stilettos combine all these themes in one desirable and highly-limited package.
Three colourways are available, named after three London boroughs: the ‘Lewisham‘ and ‘Hackney‘ models pay homage to the more downtrodden areas of the city with a little dash of ghetto glamour, while the ‘Chelsea‘ version in gold represents the more well-heeled (sorry) parts of London. Available now at the Insa Heels website.
