Here we take a detailed look at one of the more interesting footwear offerings from Parisian fashion house, Lanvin, via their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Lanvin, known for their contemporary take on casual dress, explores the classic hiking boot with their rendition: the “Tall Hiking Boot.” This Italian-made round toe boot carries many of your traditional hiking boot characteristics such as the 5 metal eyelets and rugged lug sole. To differentiate itself from others, however, a double crossover plastic wrap covers the lacing system as well as a lizard trim contrast on the rubber lug sole. The boot is now available at Barneys.
