Nike Sportswear will be releasing its Liberty Dunk Hi and Blazer next weekend with the Dunk Hi being made available at Nike Sportswear at the Montalbán in Los Angeles and 21 Mercer Street in New York City as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers, while the Liberty Blazer can be found exclusively at Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles. Last year’s Liberty Dunk was a huge hit and I am sure that this year’s release will match the success of its predecessor. The Blazer, which has seen a huge spike in terms of popularity over the last few years for men, looks great with its Liberty makeover for the female consumer.
Here is a little more information from Nike Sportswear: “Liberty fabrics are characterized by tender palettes, all over floral prints, and detailed movement, which is the perfect juxtaposition with the clean design lines of the Blazer and the Nike Dunk. This season the Nike Design team used Liberty’s Phoebe, Nina, Venus Leaf and Strawberry Thief Liberty fabrics. While the Blazer’s two styles are each solidly draped in either the Nina or Phoebe patterns, the two new versions of the Nike Dunk Hi use three of Liberty’s signature materials – Nina, Venus Leaf and Strawberry Thief – patched together on the shoe like a quilt, intricately placing the materials side by side.”
