Zaha Hadid For Lacoste
Having created the astounding Chanel Mobile Art which is currently on show at Central Park in NYC, architect Zaha Hadid has set his sights on a project with Lacoste for Spring next year. Putting together a textured leather shoes which provides a wrap around effect which showcases “the evolution of dynamic fluid grids” so the shoe expands and contracts to adapt to the shape of the feet. A project which reminds me of the audacious creation fellow architect Marc Newsom produced for Nike some time ago, the Zaha Hadid collection will launch with a limited edition pre-release of 1000 pairs in March 2009.
