Relaunched denim company Closed, celebrated their 30th anniversary with a heritage collection last year. Looking to the future, the brand collaborated with Giuliano Fujiwara to move forward. This co-branding project came out of GF’s creative director, Masataka Matsumura and his desire to bring more affordable styles to the public. This perfectly timed project will bring the unique minimalist philosophies of Giuliano Fujiwara mixed and reinterpreted within pieces from the Closed archives.

We will see clean lines, fashion sensibility, attention to detail and the “Zen aesthetics” Matsumura applies to his designs. Expect jackets, trousers and shorts in chambray, chino and denim as well as subtle detailing like triple stitching, asymmetrical pockets, graphic motifs and “a special sartorial precision that turns a few farments into timeless unisex pieces.”

Lucky for us the collaboration will grow and develop over 4 seasons.
