HAERFEST continue their experimental AE series with two new releases – the Ghost Series backpack range and a brass shoehorn. Inspired by the forms and finishes of Carl Auböck and Richard Serra’s sculptures, the shoe horn conforms to the hand and eases the heel into any shoe. It is available with matte gold and antiqued nickel finishes. The Ghost Series AE1 and AE13 backpacks demonstrate HAERFEST’s ongoing exploration of unconventional materials. Like 1960s American artist DeWain Valentine, the label experimented with the artistic form of industrial resin and its optical display of redirecting light and shadow. An elastic semi-translucent polymer in the backpack’s outer panel reveals ghostly impressions of your belongings, a unique option for those looking for a clean backpack.
