It used to be that the drab darkness of black was a color reserved for the cold winter months and the UV-absording color helped keep you from freezing to death. Summer fashion, on the other hand, was about bright colors that mirrored the energy of the re-warmed world — i.e. dressing like a flower when the flowers were in bloom was totally cool, if not obligatory.
But flowers aren’t cool anymore, nor is wearing or carrying anything that’s not black. So, even for their Spring/Summer 2014 line, Head Porter is going “Black Beauty” with a line of all-obsidian-everything, nylon pieces ranging from duffel bag, shoulder bag, laptop sleeve, pouch and sunglasses case.
Prices range from around $70 USD to $500 USD and the collection arrives to drop February 1st. Visit Head Porter’s webstore.
