Effortlessly blending sophistication with simplicity, the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Hermes at Paris Fashion Week was a triumph on home soil for the French fashion house. The collection by designer Veronique Nichan­ia kept to a classic code of tailoring to keep things elegant, starting with deep blues and traveling through muted greys, vibrant yellow and dark reds. White was used to luxurious effect beneath suiting and also held it’s own on a couple of perfectly fitted pieces of outerwear. It’s a testament to the high skill set and vision of the design team at Hermes that they can continue to produce such well tailored pieces and still remain completely fluid, youthful and relaxed.
