Freshnessmag have interviewed Kikuo Ibe, the Chief Engineer of Research & Development of Casio, who created and designed the iconic G-Shock watch. I remember getting a G-Shock all those years ago, it was a big change from the norm, and at the time something very special. Today, its an icon, an icon that is seeing a comeback of sorts, having said that it never really went that far. While I probably wouldn’t wear a G-Shock now, I can certainly appreciate the impact the watch has had on design and style over the years. Hey! Maybe I would wear one?!
