You’d be surprised, but I’ve been following competitive yo-yoing for several years now. And though “competitive yo-yoing” sounds like an oxymoron, it’s quite incredible to watch… and I do love watching it.

So imagine my surprise when I saw 22-year-old Canadian and current World Champion, Jensen Kimmitt’s newest video showcasing a completely new style of yo-yoing. He’s taken the average string length and elongated it, which would make normal yo-yo play difficult, but has managed to make it work with his tourniquet style placement of the end of the string.
