Milan Men’s Fashion Week kicked off today, and one of the first shows to take place was Jil Sander.

Its always exciting to see what Raf Simons has in store for us , his tenure as the head of Jil Sander has been really successful, and seen him gain much mainstream respect and acclaim for his own unique, futuristic and minimal take on the style created by the now departed German designer who founded the label in the late 70s.   This season sees a softer take his distinctive sharp tailored style, with an almost retro sci-fi feel to some of the collection, its a look that for many is much easier to wear than Simons own name collections with the overcoats (and numerous high street knock offs) bound to become statement pieces for many men.
