Junya Watanabe’s collections have always had a certain western traveller, English country club kind of feel to it and the Spring/Summer 2010 collection unveiled in Paris this week seems to be of no exception. Driven by a sense of nostalgia, Junya describes this collection as “snobbish”, and includes a range of very well executed plaid jacket, white pants, foulard with pocket square. Junya also teams up with Scottish raincoat legend Mackintosh this season as well as long time collaborator Levi’s once again on some nicely mended denim. A splendidly urbane collection and is bound to be hugely popular when it hits the selves come summer season, take a look below.
