Interesting as always, Junya Watanabe’s S/S’12 collection features several standout pieces, cohesive in their relaxed style. A Jacquard Snow Pattern jumper seems like it has jumped into Spring from a Fall collection, but the lightweight 100% cotton used in its construction confirms its place here. Shirting is represented by patterns and patches and is, as always, a bold offering from the Japanese designer. Denim for S/S’12 sees an interesting remodeling of vintage Levis 501s – the loose denim jeans digitally printed with a Levis 501 print in indigo.
