Building on the momentum and energy of their collaboration for their Fall/Winter 2013 campaign for KENZO, TOILETPAPER magazine (artist Maurizio Cattelan, photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari and art director Micol Talso) have teamed up with the Paris-based fashion house to release a capsule collection of sweaters, T–Shirts and iPhone cases. Hitting stores this month, the limited edition collection depicts imagery from KENZO’s FW13 campaign and feature the TOILETPAPER team’s provocative and fun view on garments and accessories from the houses men’s and women’s collections. The artistic trio’s innovative photos portraying a kitten in a shoe, a sliced fingernail, a dog painted with tiger stripes, and some of the other improbable renderings which feature in the campaign, are emblazoned on bright pink and turquoise sweaters and cases. A playful and celebratory take on the American flag features one of the key prints for KENZO’s winter collection, the eye.
