“LN-CC isn’t so much a retail site but more an evolving platform of curated ideas encompassing clothing, music and art. Cutting edge labels, such as Rick Owens and Damir Doma are positioned next to obscure Japanese labels.
Most haven’t been seen outside of Tokyo before and Mitchell tirelessly negotiated to secure them as international stockist. Skelton has pushed the unisex envelope by inviting designers to produce women’s garments in men’s sizes and vice versa.
They have enlisted art book specialist, Conor Donlon to edit his sizeable collection for LN-CC. A dedicated sound system is being installed by legendary sound engineer, Mickey Boyle and will be used to host private events with visiting DJs.
And an art space is also underway for exhibitions – anything from photography to tattoo work. As Skelton declares, ‘It’s not about the products themselves, but how they relate to our house style.’ Soon after the website is operational, a physical space – designed by Gary Card – will open, initially on an appointments basis.”
Stay tuned. LN-CC opens online later this month.
