A.P.C. designer Louis Wong continues his luxury sub-label for the French brand, concentrating on jackets as the line’s forte. This season, his single-minded vision to perfect the leather jacket finds reference in British and French black-and-white films of the ’50s and ’60s. He’s updated a couple of key Louis W. styles, like the ‘Ferris’ – with a suede torso and jacquard rib. In addition, a working class vibe is given off by the beautifully named ‘Jean-Paul Donkey Jacket’. The ‘Maurice’ jacket is another highlight; its lambswool collar and classic bomber style a perfect, timeless option for winter.
