With his NEIGHBORHOOD subsidiary, LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD, designer Shinzuke Takizawa takes inspiration from British culture, looking to the design cues of various eras in British style, while maintaining a strong sense of the original NEIGHBORHOOD brand. For Fall/Winter 2012, Takizawa has created a collection modeled off punky-reggae culture, realized through pieces like parkas, leather jackets and a collaborative pair of CL boots with English shoemaker, George Cox. Also included is a special collaboration to celebrate the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary this year. The above editorial appears in the latest issue of NEIGHBORHOOD magazine, with the pieces available from select retailers, the brand’s online store and ZOZOTOWN.
