Maison Martin Margiela for H&M Fall/Winter 2012 Collection Launch
In a formerly abandoned industrial building on Manhattan’s Bleecker Street, H&M and Maison Martin Margiela officially launched their collaborative FW12 collection last night with a number of multi-sensory displays held across the building’s nine floors. Showing both the menswear and womenswear lines, the duo eschewed a traditional runway format, instead opting for installation, artwork and dance from the likes of Daniel Arsham, Noémie Goudal, Frederique Chauveaux and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s dance company Rosas. Attended by a number of VIP guests, by all accounts the large scale celebration was fitting for the high level of anticipation that has surrounded this collection. (Images: Hypebeast)
