Mark McNairy’s SS13 collection adds a splash of colour to the season. It’s quite in-you-face – as attested by MC Danny Brown flipping us the bird in pic 1 – but there are some nice individual pieces in here for fans of the McNairy design aesthetic. Prints are the dominant factor for the brand once again this season; camo, leopard, dots, and floral patterns all vie for attention, but it is the boldly vibrant tonal pieces that are the winners here – shorts, vests and jackets stand out loudly. On a more traditional front, there are a couple of nicely tailored jackets this season, and a relaxed fit navy blue worker’s jacket which reminds us of McNairy’s affinity to heritage wear. It’s all lighthearted and inventive – perfect for Summer.
