After gaining a significant amount of attention with the first mastermind JAPAN x Timberland release, as they revisited the iconic 6′ boot, mastermind decided to revisit the relationship releasing the Timberland Chukka apart of their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. As expected, mastermind JAPAN takes this classic silhouette and modifies it by adding the zipper lace cover as we’ve seen in the previous collaboration, as well as a new rubber sole giving it a more casual look, rather than Timberlands rugged aesthetic. In addition to the upgrades, the chukka is made of  a premium waterproof nubuck with leather padding around the ankle, while the iconic Timberland and mmJ skull logo’s are produced in metal, making for an exciting release. The mastermind JAPAN x Timberland Chukka is slated to release soon as apart of their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.
