With it being Mickey’s 80th birthday this year the Disney company decided to give his woman Minnie a wardrobe of 80 different outfits by various designers and artists. The designers inlude J C de Castelbajac, Vionnet, Cathy Pill, Heimstone, Paule Ka, Julliette Swildens, Manoush, Princesse Nomade, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Anne Fontaine, Cacharel, BA&SH, Antik Batik to name a few. The fashion trade exhibition Pret a Porter Paris will be exhibiting the Minnie Mouse dolls dressed in all her 80 outfits from 24th to the 27th January and then the exhibition will move to The Train in New York, returning to Galleries Lafayette in Paris for public view from the 16th April to the 17th May before completing the exhibition in Milan, Tokyo and finally Berlin. The dolls will then be auctioned off with proceeds going to Maison de Solenn to help troubled children.
