There are certain shoes which look like they were totally designed for the future. First debuted in 1995, the Nike Air Rift was created for Kenyan runners in an effot to re-create the effect of running barefoot. No one seemed to notice that the silhouette was very 2014. Or did they? Perhaps that’s why the silhouette’s been brought back in a limited edition to round out the summer running season. Paying tribute to the original royal blue design, but keeping it tonal (there’s an absence of grey accents this time around), the Nike Air Rift SP is available today (August 7) at NikeLab.
