Nike Dresses Independent Olympic Athletes
I’ll admit that until a few hours ago, watching the Olympic opening ceremony, I had no idea that a handful of athletes at the event compete as individuals. The IOA (Independent Olympic Athletes) compete on behalf of themselves and do not represent any nation. In 2012, four individuals will be repping the IOA – and they looked very happy about it too, I might add, as they danced along the track together. Maybe they were rejoicing in the fact that Nike had dressed them in some very clean white tracksuits, finished off with a pair of Olympic edition Flyknit sneakers – making them the coolest crew at the games. Check out what they were rocking in the gallery above.
